An Eclectic Acoustic Trio

An Eclectic Acoustic Trio

Acoustic Creek will be playing at the Annual Watermelon Festival in Carytown, located in Richmond, VA, on Sunday August 8th from 11:45am - 12:30pm on the Juicy Stage.  This is Acoustic Creek's second appearance at Virginia's largest one day festival, with an attendance of over 100,000 people.  For more information on the many bands that will be playing at the festival, visit http://www.rockitz.net/ where you can find a full list of the bands, times, and stages.  If you are in or near the Richmond, VA area, stop by for an amazing festival at one of Virginia's hippest towns!  The festival is child friendly, so there are plenty of activities to keep the children happy as well.

You can join their mailing list by sending an email to: info@acousticcreek.com to keep updated on the latest news, shows, and music releases.

Acoustic Creek performs in many genres of music, fusing them together, and adding their unique touch to some great cover songs, as well as a strong focus on original music, with three part harmonies, as well as some instrumental acoustic jams.  They are a roots oriented trio with an original approach to acoustic music that suits many environments, from festivals to quiet dinner parties.  Their original, unobtrusive approach to their art sets them apart from other acoustic trios, allowing them to adapt their music to their surroundings.

This site is currently under construction and we will be adding more info shortly, as well as more pictures from AC's photoshoot with the talented Lore Rojas Images so feel free to stop by anytime!
Frank and Chuck with Maggie Bailey, the 2009 National Watermelon Queen, at last year's festival.

Meeting Maggie was an awesome experience. This bright, beautiful young lady was a down to earth sweetheart that sincerely deserved her title.  We look forward to meeting this year's National Watermelon Queen!

Here she is!

We enjoyed meeting Jessica Southard, the 2010 National Watermelon Queen!

Congratulations to Jessica Southard, the National 2010 Watermelon Queen! Jessica is majoring in Agriculture Communications at the University of Florida. As this is our second year playing at the Watermelon Festival in Carytown, we have had the privledge of meeting two intelligent and beautiful young ladies that are so much more than a pretty face! We will be dedicating a page to these two ladies and the roles they play during their reign as National Watermelon Queen. To be crowned queen, these ladies have to know a lot about agriculture, the health benefits of watermelons, how to raise them, and they do much more! The causes that they support are awesome, and they accomplish a lot during their year as Queen. We will be publishing a page in honor of these remarkable women, and we consider their crowning to be much more meaningful than Miss America! These ladies are truly amazing!
